The Department of Visual & Media Arts at Grand Valley State University is pleased to kick off the 2022-2023 academic year by welcoming Visiting Speaker Ana Fabrega !
Please join us on Tuesday, September 13, 6:30 p.m., at the Loosemore Auditorium at the Pew Campus. This event is free and open to the public.
Ana Fabrega is a comedian based in New York City. She is a co-creator, showrunner, writer, and star of the critically acclaimed HBO series Los Espookys, which "follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business... in a dreamy Latin American country where the strange and eerie are just part of daily life." Fabrega has appeared on Portlandia, High Maintenance, and At Home With Amy Sedaris, and has released a trilogy of zines, The Truth About Pangaea I, II, and III. Season two of Los Espookys, which co-stars Fred Armisen, Julio Torres, and Kim Petras, debuts Saturday, September 16 at 11 p.m.
