This exhibition highlights the range of work produced in the Photography Program within the VMA Department. Representing photography as a contemporary and evolving practice, the show features student projects across all levels — from darkroom and alternative processes to studio and advanced lens-based work — reflecting the program’s diverse approaches and creative community.

Courses represented in this program include Introduction to Digital Photography, Darkroom Photography, Intermediate Photography, Color Photography, Studio Photography I & II, History of Photography I & II, Alternative Printing Processes, Classic 4x5 Photography, The Social Eye, Advanced Problems, Advanced Digital Photography, and Experimental Photography.
Current professors in the program are Stafford Hiroshi Smith, Anthony Thompson, Mahsa Alafar, Amanda Pitts, Megan Smith, and Corinne Keener.
