You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) is a tight-knit group of strong and confident women. The mission and organizational goals are to culturally enhance Grand Valley's campus and increase society's awareness of today s African American woman. YBBW is working towards the goal to unite women across Grand Valley's campus regardless of race, creed or color, while uplifting and enhancing the strength, knowledge, beauty and power of the African American woman. We hold yearly events for Grand Valley students, which include Hair Show, Women's Conference, Beautiful Week in Color and outings for the YBBW sisters.
