We know the Roman Empire “fell,” but deciding how, when, and why it fell poses real challenges and problems of definition. The period from roughly the fourth through the eighth centuries AD witnessed transformations and adaptations that ended the ancient Mediterranean world and shaped the world we live in today. Join Dr. Charles Pazdernik for an hour of discussion about how people lived through such dramatic social, economic, and political changes and how their experiences might (and might not) be like our own.

Digital Dialogues begin with a brief presentation followed by a group discussion. Registration is free, but limited to 20 participants. So sign up now!
