Students

NOTE: We are not mental health porofesisonals and are intentional about mainitaing our relaiuonship with GVSU reosurces such as the univeristy counseling center, LGBTQIA+ reosurce center, and other centers that suport the wellbeing of all GVSU students. This event will be an open space for the hispanic community (and all attendees) to discuss the affects of I.C.E. policies, family/home pressures, emotional weight, and immigration. We will not have any public speakers but do plan on using paint (already assigned an area for painting in kirkhof center). The event will allow us to come together to ensure individuals who identify as hispanic are able use their voice to better the community along with adressing what they deal with internally on a daily basis.
