Leo Sowerby, a
Grand Rapids native (1895-1968), was the winner of the Pulitzer Prize
for music in 1946. This concert will highlight this local composer.
The concert
will feature GVSU Music faculty Paul Carlson, Sookkyung Cho, Gregory
Crowell, Letitia Jap, Pablo Mahave-Veglia, and Kody Wallace; the GVSU
University Arts Chorale; and GVSU students Gracie Barrett, Lindsey
Bos, Natalie Feldpausch, Guy Henning, Trevor Rollison, Lydia Seaver,
and Mac Wyn.
