Sustainable Swaps BINGO
Thursday, February 18, 2021
Would you like to win a succulent? Would you like to benefit the planet and make some sustainable changes to your life? Well then, why not participate in our February Workshop? Until the first of March, we'll give you the opportunity to make some sustainable swaps in your life. Use the provided board (available on Facebook and in the documents section), and if you get a BINGO, you win a succulent. It's that simple! Just make sure to email picture proof of your sustainable swaps to co-Presidents Maisie or Angela and email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The succulent prizes are graciously being provided by the Biology Club, so we'll work with them to organize a pick-up date after the challenge has closed. We'll communicate this via the Farm Club Facebook page.
The Farm Club is a student group dedicated to promoting the principles and practices of sustainable agriculture. We provide an open space for veggies, knowledge, and relationships to grow! Join us for volunteer hours at the Sustainable Agriculture Project (spring 2021 volunteer hours TBD). Here's where to go: tinyurl.com/SAPmap
We use Facebook as a means of posting events and opportunities for participation. To stay involved, visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/GVSUfarmclub/?ref=share
The Biology Club aims to help students build relationships with their biology faculty and classmates. Throughout the school year the club gives students a chance to interact with the community through various events. We also encourage and provide students with opportunities in the various careers and research opportunities in biology related fields. The Biology Club is open to any and all majors, only an interest in biology is required.
