This program will be a discussion panel featuring participants from various campus resources, including Grand Valley’s victim advocate, police officers, and Grand Valley’s Title IX coordinator, and housing staff. The purpose of the panel is to inform students about campus resources available to them if they or someone they know has experienced sexual violence. Students will gain a greater understanding of what these various resources provide, the protocols and procedures that each office follows, and what to expect upon reaching out to one of these resources. Additionally, students will learn about how support from these resources looks during the time of COVID-19, as well as how recent Title IX regulation changes has impacted university policy. This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
