Are you interested in the environment, sustainable practices, or making an impact on your community? Join the Student Environmental Coalition! SEC is a club that helps engage students to be more conscious citizens by promoting environmental awareness. In this club, we share ways to reduce your waste, volunteer to clean the community such as the Grand Haven Beach cleanup or the Mayors' Grand River clean up, and keep you up to date on environmental concerns and news! We welcome everyone, from people who know nothing about greener practices and want to learn, to people who are majoring in environmental studies! We have in-person meetings on every other Tuesday from 7-8pm in Kirkhof RM2266! Throughout the year, we have optional volunteer opportunities and field trips that help us learn more about the environmental impact humans have on our surroundings and the climate.
