Join GVSU Archivists Annie Benefiel and Leigh Rupinski to learn about the basics of creating and preserving personal, family, or community archives.
Participants in this webinar will gain a better understanding of the complexities involved in caring for historical materials, and learn practical strategies for identifying, categorizing, and preserving materials of different types. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the impact of collecting our families’ and communities’ memories and how these may contribute to our understanding of the past.
