Relay for Life Luminaria Ceremony

Relay for Life at GVSU is a little different this year. We wanted to keep some aspects of the event in person, and Luminaria tends to hold a sentimental value for most. Every year we fill out paper bags in honor of someone who has battled cancer and survived, or in memory of someone who lost their battle for cancer. From 3-8pm these bags will be provided at the table by the clocktower on campus. From 8-9 pm, we will be putting lights inside of the bags and setting them up as a smaller-scale ceremony by the clocktower.
