The philosophy department will host this panel discussion that will raise and address broadly philosophical and humanistic issues related to the phenomenon of generative AI, particularly the sensational and sensationalized recent developments in interactive “AI” represented by ChatGPT. GVSU faculty from Philosophy, Communication Studies, and Digital Studies will each give a brief presentation followed by discussion.
