Recreational Therapy: Where science meats creativity and compassion

Are you interested in Recreational Therapy or want to know what we do? This event is for you! Recreational Therapy uses evidence based practice to address physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and wellness. At this event, there will be many different activities to showcase Recreational Therapy interventions such as a high ropes course, wheelchair sports, arts and crafts, horticulture, nutrition, mindfulness/relaxation, and group activities! All are welcome at this free event.

There is street parking or ramp parking available. The ramp is connected to the DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health.

The Open House will take place on the 1st floor and lower level. Someone will be present at the front desk to guide you when you arrive.
