Rally with the Rapids

Rally with the Rapids is a student-led event organized by SPM 376 students in support of Special Olympics Michigan. Now in its seventh year, this long-standing tradition brings together students, faculty, alumni, and community supporters for an unforgettable evening of sports, entertainment, and giving back.

This year, the event will feature a special partnership with the Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets. Several players and coaches from the Gold will be in attendance to interact with fans, participate in on-court activities, and show their support for Special Olympics Michigan.

For sport management students, Rally with the Rapids provides valuable hands-on experience in planning, promoting, and managing a large-scale event. Students who have not yet taken SPM 376 are encouraged to attend to gain inspiration, observe event operations, and develop ideas for their future coursework.

Join us for an evening of community, connection, and competition while supporting a great cause!
