The Vietnamese Cultural Association presents our annual Phß Night! This year we are able to do it IN-PERSON on Friday, November 19th, 2021, from 6PM-9PM at the Niemeyer Multipurpose Room.

Please join us in our efforts to support the children in Vietnam! Nearly a quarter of Vietnamese children suffer from stunting due to malnutrition. A portion of our funds will be donated to @savethechildren. We appreciate your sincere support! To all GVSU students/staff/alumni and guests, due to GVSU Covid-19 guidelines, you are required to wear a mask at all times (except when munchin on some yummy food).

This year, we are selling:

Phß | $7

Vegan Phß | $7
Pandan waffles | $4
Vietnamese coffee | $2

Please remember that this event is a B.Y.O.B.(Bring Your Own Bowl). We only have a limited amount of bowls that we can provide for people who are unable to bring their own.

Before entering the room, there will be a table by the front entrance where you will order and pay for your food. We ONLY accept VENMO and CASH!

Phß Competition:

At 7:30PM, we will start the Phß Competition! This is where you order a BIG bowl of phß and you compete with other participants to try to finish it as fast as you can. Whoever finishes first will be declared as Phß King and win a prize! If you would like to participate, please order the bowl by 7:20PM on the day of the event.

Raffles:
For every $10 you spend, your name will be put into the raffle! This will only apply to 1 ORDER. We will be doing 3 raffles in total.
The time we will announce the raffle winners and the prizes
7:00 PM - $10 Meijer gift card
8:00 PM - $15 Meijer gift card
9:00 PM - $20 Meijer gift card & VCA T-shirt

Karaoke and more:
At around 8:00PM, we will start opening up the karaoke machine where you can sing your heart out!
We will also be selling Pho Night Stickers for $2!

Vietnamese Cultural Association is an open organization that promotes Vietnamese culture, traditions, and language. Our meetings are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays starting at 7 PM via Zoom or other online platforms. Meetings consist of cultural discussions, guest speakers, and fun games. We strive to create a family-like environment for anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge on Vietnamese culture. VCA also aims to give back to the community nearby, while also promoting Vietnamese language and traditions.
