The New Music Ensemble presents world premieres from their Lake Michigan project, part of GVSU's Making Waves Initiative. Music from Olivia Kieffer, Logan Rutledge, and Tony Manfredonia will be performed, plus music videos from composers Nathan Hudson and Elena Specht. In addition, commissioned music by Marc Mellits and Pascal Le Boeuf will be performed, from the ensemble's 2021 National Parks project. And as a bonus, SIX of the composers will be attending! Come out to hear fantastic music inspired by the world around us, and then meet and talk to the composers that made it all happen.
