The Michigan Sociological Association is excited to announce its upcoming fall conference, taking place on October 23rd and 24th at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. This annual gathering offers sociologists, scholars, researchers, and students an excellent opportunity to share insights, network, and engage with the latest developments in the field. October 23rd is an information gathering at Main Street Pub in Allendale, Michigan, and on October 24th is the conference.
We are currently accepting presentation submissions from many disciplines that interconnect with sociology. Participants are encouraged to submit their research papers for consideration, and students should take note that we are also accepting entries for the undergraduate student paper competition. This is a fantastic chance for students to showcase their work and gain recognition among their peers. The deadline for all paper submissions is October 10th, so make sure to submit your work before then.
If you plan to attend, please note that the conference registration deadline to secure a meal for the luncheon during the keynote address is October 19th. This deadline is essential because it allows us to accurately estimate luncheon attendance and ensure a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.
We are thrilled to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Gomez Cervantes, a former Grand Valley State University alumnus. Dr. Cervantes brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the conference, and we look forward to hearing her insights.
