The Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization (IPO) is the premier collegiate business organization with a financial focus at Grand Valley State University fostering over 100 members. The organization is student run with $150,000 assets under management diversified into 7 sectors. Founded in 1976, we are focused on developing our members into top tier business professionals through extensive training and mentorship opportunities. In addition to managing our fund, we provide members with a comprehensive introduction to the financial services through guest lectures, investment education sessions, exclusive networking opportunities, and our competitive Research Analyst Training Program. In continuation, to develop our members into well rounded business professionals we also teach members public speaking, networking tactics, and resume and LinkedIn expertise. Ultimately our goals are to both outperform the market and provide students with a solid foundation for their future endeavors in the business world.

The American Marketing Association of Grand Valley is an award-winning, student-run organization aimed at helping GVSU students network professionally with their peers, make lifetime connections, and learn to market themselves and their skills to potential employers.

We provide fun opportunities for students interested in marketing and business by hosting expert speakers, touring agencies, providing professional development workshops, participating in philanthropic events, and arranging club networking socials. Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. The Lambda Xi Chapter at Grand Valley State University was established on April 19, 1986, focusing on brotherhood, networking, professional development and philanthropy. The previous Assistant Dean of the Seidman College of Business, Dean Reifel, assisted in the development and implementation of the Lambda Xi Chapter of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi on Grand Valley State University's campus. Today, more than 478 Grand Valley Students have been initiated into the fraternity through the Lambda Xi chapter and we are constantly searching for new prospective members to continue our rich tradition at GVSU.
