Learn more about the medical scribe role and opportunities to help boost your graduate school applications and healthcare career!

This is a free training program, with a commitment to work on average 2 shifts per week over 12 consecutive months (or 900+ hours). The GVSU Scribe Academy begins with online, asynchronous learning, followed by in-person clinical training including 1:1 mentoring with a medical scribe professional. The goal is to train you to be a part-time medical scribe at the location you will be working.

Free job training is provided through the GVSU Scribe Academy, www.gvsu.edu/scribe. Academy graduates move into employment with Helix Scribe Solutions, http://www.helixscribes.com/.
