Consider the medical scribe role! It will open you to practical medical experiences that you will use in your healthcare career and help build a professional network to mentor your future.
Medical scribes job shadow providers in a paid position and assist with medical charting and documentation. This is great exposure to the day-to-day of the medical profession observing professional patient care delivery including medical procedures while being a valuable member of the healthcare team! Helix scribes are working in:
- Medical offices - offering shifts Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- Emergency departments - shifts include days, evenings and weekends.
GVSU Scribe Academy (free training) & Helix Scribe Solutions (paid employment)
