This learning space offers participants a working knowledge of terminology and concepts related to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as basic allyship skills for creating more inclusive, affirming, and celebratory environments. 

Participants will:

  • Learn the basics of inclusive name and pronoun use.
  • Gain a greater understanding of gender, sex, and sexuality
  • Understand the implications of oppression and power, including how they operate as systems in our personal lives, through organizations, and systems

The event will take place Wednesday, October 5 from 4-6 pm in 201D DeVos Place on the Pew Campus.
