Let's set up a hoop house!

Hey, Farm Club friends! We have new neighbors! The New City Neighbors, an organization that lifts up local youth and promotes peace through agriculture, is moving onto the SAP. Part of this collaboration with NCN calls for the creation of a new hoop house just north of the existing two. NCN gets a discount if volunteers help with the installation, so we thought we'd offer up our efforts!

So do you need some service hours? Come help us set up the hoop house! The installation is scheduled for Monday, November 16, rain or shine. Students are free to drop in anytime between 8AM and 4PM. Directors of the New City Neighbors' board, advisees of the SAP Advisory Board, and members of the Office of Sustainability Practices will be present all day to help with the installation and give direction.

Please remember to wear your mask, wash your hands before beginning work (we have a hand-washing station!), and complete your daily self-health assessment! We will be working outside, but we still want to be careful. Also, please remember to bring a pen. We'll have a sign-in sheet to track attendance!
