This summer was filled with many changes, including transitioning a traditional in-person internship to a remote opportunity.  How did students learn to navigate a new internship role while working remotely?  How were employers able to make the changes and adjust so quickly?

This workshop will highlight two GVSU students who completed remote summer internships.  They will share their experiences, what worked, what could be improved, and how they used this time to continue their career development. In addition, Mickey Maher and DJ Briggs of Rock Central will share how they were able to maintain a strong internship program during an uncertain time.

Registration is required!

This event is part of the Work Like A Laker Conference. For more information, please visit: https://www.gvsu.edu/careers/wlalconference. All sessions offered can be found in Handshake Events.
