Students
GVSU Alumna, Veronica Beltran, Legal Director of the Southwest Detroit Immigrant and Refugee Center will be speaking to students about their rights as a person in society. Ms. Beltran will be giving advice on how to navigate the legal system as a young adult. Ms. Beltran will also be accompanied by a Ottawa County Public Defender to talk about most common issues the see between police and civilians.
