Past members know that Alternative Breaks (AB) is a service organization that typically sends out multiple week long service trips on both environmental and social topics over winter and spring break. This year because of COVID-19 we cannot send out trips so our focus this year will be about working with local organizations. One of the main goals of AB is to bring what we learned our trips back to our own community. This year we will be focusing on our community and how we can still make an impact even during a global pandemic. AB is not religiously affiliated and welcomes people of all faiths and beliefs. By growing from member to community leader to an executive board member, students cultivate strong leadership skills.
