3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Allendale Campus
Community, Students
Join or Die is a documentary based on the research of political scientist Robert Putnam, exploring the critical role community participation plays in strengthening democracy and improving collective well-being. Through compelling stories and data, the film examines how declining civic engagement has contributed to growing social isolation and polarization across the United States.
This screening offers our community an opportunity to reflect on the importance of connection and local participation. By focusing on how small acts of coming together can create meaningful social change, Join or Die encourages conversation about how we can rebuild trust, foster belonging, and support a more engaged community. Following the film, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss how these ideas can translate into action right here in our own community.
