Oct. 10th, KC Pere Marquette, 12:00PM: Elliot Fair, Math-E-Ben-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians and GVSU senior in the Natural Resource Management Program will be presenting on his work as a western science and Indigenous cultural learner in contemporary times.  The focus of his lecture will be on our sturgeon and wild rice from a cultural perspective and how we use 1000s of years of traditional knowledge with western science to create sustainable environments for our natural resources.
