We are excited to welcome Patricia Thomas, Dean, Kirkhof College of Nursing and Ning Jackie Zhang, Dean, College of Health Professions to our first ever Health Campus speaker event.

Dean Thomass area of scholarship and interest is in the role of the clinical nurse leader (CNL), including leadership, evidence-based practice and outcomes, care coordination and transitions, and interprofessional education.

Dean Zhang is an experienced academic and administrator who is committed to supporting a strong educational journey for our learners. Before coming to Grand Valley State University, Dean Zhang served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Seton Hall University.

Join us for an early evening of casual conversation, light appetizers, community, and networking.

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) serves the entire graduate student body at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). The GSA aids in facilitating student governance and helps to facilitate the administration of the graduate funding board for all graduate student organizations. Partnering with the Office of Graduate Studies, Graduate Council, University Academic Senate, and the Office of the President, the GSA advocates for graduate students and promotes graduate student governance and culture at GVSU. The GSA promotes interdisciplinary communication and cross-curricular collaboration to foster a holistic graduate student experience. By fostering the development of a graduate student community at Grand Valley State University, graduate students will develop academically, intellectually, professionally, and socially. The GSA plans and coordinates activities throughout the academic year aimed at building graduate student culture and building professional networks across all disciplines. The GSA also emphasizes career development through its integrated PACES programming, which is co-sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies.
