GVSU Downtown Toastmasters Club is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of about 17,000 clubs. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. 

Outside a pandemic, the GVSU Downtown Club meets every Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. in the University Club located in Building C, 107C DeVos, 401 W. Fulton Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. The club is open to GVSU students, faculty, staff and any member of the community. Anyone can visit as many times as needed before becoming a member. During this pandemic we have maintained our meeting time of every Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. but virtually via Zoom. Request Zoom meeting info via our club website and zoom in any day your schedule allows.
