Global Languages & Cultures Festival (INT 100/201 approved)
Thursday, March 26, 2026
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Allendale Campus
Faculty, Students
At this free event, students will have the opportunity to visit tables and speak with different language programs on the Valley Campus. These tables will include items of cultural significance, like clothing, food and art, among other things. Music from different languages and cultures will play while students explore different activities such as board games from other countries, escape room boxes, multilingual VR experiences and multilingual puppet shows. Career panels will occur in the Kirkhof Center that day to give students an opportunity learn why a language degree can benefit their long-term career.
Food trucks will also be available throughout the event to provide unique food options to those that attend!
Location Information
The Global Languages & Cultures Festival will be held mainly within Kirkhof Center by the campus Library, and food trucks will be available outside near the North Lawn. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to take campus tours, as well as visit our Language Resource Center.
