Are you working now on your IIE Gilman International Scholarship or IIE Freeman-Asia essays? Join us for a Virtual Workshop in which we'll share tips on creating a strong set of Gilman and/or Freeman-Asia essays. The workshop will be led by Dr. Tooley, a Gilman national reviewer, Gilman scholarship recipients and GVSU Writing Consultants. All GVSU students planning to submit applications for these prestigious State-Department scholarships in this application cycle are welcome! Writing Consultants will lead virtual breakout sessions so that you'll receive tailored feedback on your drafts.

The funding cycles are now open for the IIE Gilman and IIE Freeman-Asia support study abroad experiences in Fall ’22, Full Year ’22-’23, and Winter/Spring ’23.
