RSVP is required.
Limited seating due to CDC guidelines.
All CDC guidelines will be followed: Must have a green check for your self-assessment from GVSU, temperature will be checked at the door, masks required and social distancing will be adhered to.

The TRIO Student Support Services of Grand Valley State University is committed to increasing the rates of academic achievement, retention, and graduation among historically underrepresented students by providing holistic and individualized support services that maximize students' innate abilities, draw upon available resources within and outside of the University, and benefit students, families and the larger community. TRIO Teacher Preparation Student Support Services is a federally funded program designed to promote learning, personal development, and retention. TPSSS provides support to Grand Valley State University undergraduate students who are first generation, meet federal income guidelines, and are pursuing a K-12 teaching degree. TRIO - Teacher Preparation Student Support Services provides a number of services to participants of the program that include but are not limited to: Leadership Opportunities Academic Advising Financial Literacy Tutorial Referrals Professional Readiness Exam (PRE) Study Materials & Preparation Mentoring Cultural Events Volunteer Opportunities

TRiO Student Support Services S.T.E.M. is a federally-funded, comprehensive support program for first-generation and limited-income college students in the S.T.E.M. fields. The goal of the program is to offer every possible form of support for participants along their journey to graduation from Grand Valley State University. Through participation in the program, students are assigned an advisor and have access to peer mentors who can help them achieve success while in college. We provide a number of services including: academic advising, scheduling assistance, study skills assistance, time management assistance, secondary admission assistance, financial aid counseling, career counseling, graduate school counseling, personal counseling and study abroad advising.
