Hi everyone! We had the pleasure of meeting a lot of you guys during our Ignition Week events and are excited to see you all for our first general meeting! This meeting is about getting to know the board and other members of ASU. Come on out for ice breakers and other games to meet people!

*As a reminder: please have your event pass ready to scan, this will help us get an idea of how many people came to our event and help campus with contact tracing. Also, have your self-assessment ready and wear a mask at our indoor events which this one will be.

Welcome to the Asian Student Union page! For Fall Semester of 2021, our meetings will take place in person every Wednesday at 7:00pm. We will continue to diligently adhere to all of GVSU & state-held restrictions due to COVID-19, but are hopeful to be able to hold in person meetings safely as the semester goes on!

We create a fun, family-like environment for those looking to broaden their knowledge of Asian and Asian-American traditions, culture, and more. We also discuss stereotypes, explore cultures while discussing common stereotypes. Asian Student Union hosts two signature events every year: the Asian New Year Festival and the R.I.C.E (Realizing and addressing Issues in our Culture and Education) conference.
