Join fellow Lakers to kick off Laker Family Weekend with family friendly festivities on the lawn of Kirkhof including yard games, food trucks, special appearances including our very own Laker Marching Band and more! Show your Laker pride, and wear your finest GVSU apparel and spirit gear!

6:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Laker Marching Band and special appearances you won't want to miss!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a group of student leaders that organize and host major campus events. Our events include: Laker Kickoff Party, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Sibs and Kids Weekend, Presidents' Ball, ExtravaGRANDza, Spring Concert, hypnotists, magicians, GV's Got Talent, and comedy, music, and special events.
