This introductory workshop will explore the deep connections between equity and sustainability. Social equity relates to the distribution of resources - clean and healthy waters, air, natural spaces, and more. Participants will discuss ways to center social equity within sustainable practices and will learn about opportunities to support this work.
Learning Outcomes - Participants will be able to:
- Understand the connection between equity and sustainability
- Leave more prepared to discuss and engage in ways to advance equity and sustainability in practice.
