Join your environmental & sustainability-related student organizations, the office of sustainability practices, ENS 201, and community partners for an Earth Day Celebration! This event will take place on Saturday, April 18th, from 11-2 pm, around the clock tower! If the forecast calls for rain, we will move to our indoor location, the Thornapple room in Kirkhof. We'll announce this closer to the event, so please keep an eye on our Instagram @gvsu_sec for updates. The event will start with student organizations and community partners tabling, featuring various activities including pinecone bird feeders, games & prizes, flower sales, and more! There will also be pizza and pop provided!! The ENS 201 class, helping to organize this event, is facilitating an Environmental Art Contest; the voting for this will be held at the event, and the winner will be chosen. After the Environmental Art Contest and tabling, there will be an opportunity for a campus cleanup (supplies will be provided) We hope to see you there to help celebrate Earth Month and the end of the semester!
