Join Gleaves and a special guest from either the community or the Cook Leadership Academy for a brief video conversation that explores a provocative topic. Thursday, May 28, will feature graduating Cook Leadership Academy fellow candidate, Freshta Tori Jan. Freshta is a student at Calvin University studying international relations, strategic communications, and pre-law. She is a bi-lingual student from Kabul, Afghanistan and was recently spotlighted in the local media for a mask project that she started to help the homeless community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Freshta will join Gleaves to discuss her leadership journey, and recent passion projects!
