Dance Troupe: Applebee's Fundraiser

On Wednesday, March 16 between 4 p.m.9 p.m., Dance Troupe is hosting a fundraiser at Applebee's! Visit Applebee's in Standale (by the Meijer on Lake Michigan Drive) and make a purchase to show your support for Dance Troupe! Tell your server that you're there to support "Dance Troupe" to indicate you want to contribute to our fundraiser. All are welcome to attend this public event, and we appreciate everyone's contribution!

**Members fo Dance Troupe: Dancers who choose to participate in this fundraiser will receive one credit of two needed to be an eligible member and to dance in recital. Dancers must make a purchase, and take a selfie of themselves with their purchase as proof for fundraising credit. This selfie must be sent in the general GVDT Winter 2022 GroupMe. Any other attendees need not take this photo for proof - this is solely use for tracking dancer/member participation.

Grand Valley Dance Troupe is a student-run dance organization at Grand Valley. We pride ourselves in being a non-competitive dance organization focused on sharing our passion for dancing, while being welcome to all levels of experience. Each semester we work with a non-profit organization to raise awareness and support them through donations from ourselves and our supporters. We host a semester recital at the end of both Fall and Winter semesters where we showcase our hard work and friendships created through weekly practices, as well as representing the non-profit for the semester proudly. Dance Troupe is completely student-run, from our Executive Board to our choreographers. Join a passionate group of students as we celebrate the art of dance!!

GVSU Dance Troupe provides an opportunity for dancers and choreographers to express their passion for dance in a fun environment. It is a non-competitive, student-run dance organization that caters to all dancing styles and levels. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced level dances. Some of the styles we offer include jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and musical theater. Our goal each semester is to work together to raise money or donate supplies to an organization through the generous help of our members, family, and friends. In recent years, Dance Troupe has collected donations on behalf of many organizations including The Sierra Club of Michigan, Paws with a Cause, and The Alzheimer's Association.
