Join attorney and Laker alumnus Lamar C. Brown, ’10, in another edition of the Sustaining Change Series where he shares his story of overcoming adversity, resilience, and what it takes to achieve your dreams. Born and raised in Englewood, one of Chicago's hardest-hit communities, he is the first in his family to attend a 4-year university and later earn a Juris Doctor. Lamar understands what it takes to push through challenges and difficult circumstances to achieve his goals. This will be an intimate conversation at the intersection of socio-economic issues, overcoming obstacles, and relentlessly pursuing your dreams.
