Join GVSU's Asian Student Union on Wednesday, March 24th, from 6pm-8pm at the Kelly Family Sports Center on the Allendale Campus! This is an opportunity for ASU's members and incoming members to be able to meet the new E-Board, see some friends, and have fun with some friendly competition! We will have a few events set up, but feel free to bring blankets to sit on, water to stay hydrated, and other outdoor sports you'd like to enjoy!

In order to adhere to GVSU's COVID-19 Guidelines, please be sure to complete your GVSU Self Assessment before attending (will need to be verified by a board member), wear a mask during the event, and respect social distancing, which means no contact sports. Thank you, and see you then!

Welcome to the Asian Student Union page! For Winter of 2021, our meetings will take place virtually every other Wednesday at 6:30pm. Due to COVID-19, we will be focusing on virtual options to include both on/off-campus students but we will look at options for outdoor meetings too!

We create a fun, family-like environment for those looking to broaden their knowledge of Asian and Asian-American traditions, culture, and more. We also discuss stereotypes, explore cultures while discussing common stereotypes. Asian Student Union hosts two signature events every year: the Asian New Year Festival and the R.I.C.E (Realizing and addressing Issues in our Culture and Education) conference.
