This webinar will include an introduction of the Children’s Healing Center located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which is the first year-round recreation facility providing social and emotional healing for kids with weakened immune systems and their families in a safe, clean environment. This presentation will be given by their volunteer coordinator, Liz Greer. This event will take place virtually on April 12, 2022 at 4 p.m. The presentation will cover what the Children’s Healing Center is, how it started, and what services they offer to the community. This event will equip audience members with information, knowledge and resources related to the organization's mission and vision as well as how to advocate for children and individuals living with a compromised immune system.
