Agar Art Night!

Agar art night! Spend the afternoon in GVSU's MLS laboratories and create beautiful agar art with color-producing bacteria!


Cash or check payment (if applicable) of $5 due upon arrival. Due to the supply requirement for this workshop, a minimum of 10 participants will be necessary. If this minimum is not reached prior to event, we will notify you of cancellation.

The event will take place in the Medical Laboratory Science programs lab space at Grand Valley State University. The address is:

Free parking is available in the DCIH Visitor parking ramp; map for parking will be attached in an email after you sign up for the event. The workshop is in the Center for Health Science building on the fourth floor, room 421. Volunteers will be around to help direct you to the correct area in the building. At this point in time, GVSU is not requiring a mask. If this changes, we will notify you before the event and have masks available for use.
