Midnight Snack is GVSU's first and only all female a cappella group founded by Vanessa Heuck and Stephanie Campeau in 2005. We are a small group of women who share a strong passion for music and performing with one another. Each year, Midnight Snack performs at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella competition, along with A Cappell-Off, and many other exciting events. Midnight Snack member, Anja Hochhuth, received the award for Most Outstanding Soloist at last year's (2019) ICCA competition. We recently released our first professionally recorded single "Sour Candy" (now on all streaming platforms)! Our songs consist of arrangements from all different genres which is part of the fun!

GrooVe! is a performance based coed a cappella group. Since 2009, GV GrooVe! has been rockin' Grand Valley State University's campus and the Grand Rapids area, bringing joy to everyone who has ears. Having performed at venues such as the Mrs. Michigan Pageant, the President's Ball, the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, and various cities around Michigan. On the off chance that GrooVe! isn't singing together, they can probably be found shoveling heaps of lake-effect snow while listening to a band you probably haven't heard of.
