This is Shakespeare at his most unhinged: a tangle of lovesick nobles, meddling fairies, and incompetent actors stumbling through a forest where almost everyone makes poor decisions. With musical inspiration from the 1950s and the 1980s, this glorious romp through the forest is a reminder that love is irrational, dreams are stranger than reality, and the universe always enjoys a practical joke.
