A Gay-ze into LGBTQ History: An Open Door Discussion

Join Abigail Liggett and Waverly Eubank for an Open Door Discussion as they facilitate an engaging journey through LGBTQIA+ History. October 19th from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the LGBT Resource Center (KC 1161).

Participants will:

Reflect on the journey of the LGBTQIA+ community from Stonewall to current day, emphasizing the fight for human rights in the 20th century.
Learn about intersectionality in the community and about the roles different identities played throughout LGBTQIA+ history.
Engage with the role of activism in the LGBTQIA+ community in present day and how we have gotten here, setbacks and milestones etc.
