Nov. 17th, 6PM to 7:30PM : Billy Mills, also known as Tamakoce Te'Hila, is an Oglala Lakota former track and field athlete who won a gold medal in the 10,000 meter run at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. His 1964 victory is considered one of the greatest Olympic upsets because he was a virtual unknown going into the event. Mr. Mills will engage in a conversation with Levi Rickert, Editor of Native News Online and Lin Bardwell, OMA coordinator, centering his work in social justice with his organization, and inspiring the next generation of runners!  This event will be held at the Eberhard Center's Paul A. Johnson Hall located on the 2nd floor downtown on the Pew Campus.
