The AOD Office would like to invite you to our 3 Bs (Be Safe, Be Smart, Be Responsible) presentation series. There are plenty of myths surrounding substance use, and this engaging presentation series is meant to educate you on what is true, what is myth, and how to stay safe while making the most of your career at Grand Valley. We will be covering topics of alcohol, marijuana, how to be there for someone struggling with their substance use, how to navigate a party, and many other topics. There is no need to attend all of the presentations in this series, so please come to the ones you are able to!
Today, we will be giving our Substances and Studying presentation. Whether actually drugs or just coffee and caffeine, many students use alcohol and drugs to get through stressful times of studying and eams. This presentation is meant to talk about what using these substances can do and how to best take care of yourself when it comes to studying and self-care.
