Richard Lord and CHM major publish manuscript
Prof. Richard Lord and CHM major Sierra Hilditch published a manuscript in Dalton Transactions. The paper was entitled "Heterodinuclear Cu(I)/Mo(VI) chemistry with bifunctional dibenzobarrelene ligands". In this work, the researchers investigated whether diphosphine–diol dibenzobarrelene ligands could bind both Cu(I) and Mo(VI), finding that the ligands bind Cu(I) as diphosphines and unexpectedly assemble into a trinuclear Cu–Mo–Cu complex rather than forming simple heterodinuclear species.
