Description

On April 1, 2016 The Richard M. and Helen DeVos Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Seidman College of Business will host the third annual MWest Challenge.  Over 100 students from Grand Valley State University, Aquinas College, Calvin College, Kendall College of Art and Design, Cornerstone University, Davenport University, Grand Rapids Community College, Kuyper College, and Hope College will compete for $40,000 in prize money.  The MWest Challenge is an innovative event designed to create cross collaboration between students that span across several universities from West Michigan representing over 75,000 students. This will allow entrepreneurially minded students to develop and grow new ventures based on their own ideas.  Since the initial kickoff in November, MWest has provided networking opportunities, mentors, workshops, and seminars for the participating students.
