Description
TESA is a hands-on, week-long day camp for high school students to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial experience by learning about problem solving, opportunity recognition, creativity, teamwork, and conceptualizing an idea for a business. The students are presented with a different challenge or theme and asked to come up with a new product, concept, or service and present it to a panel of judges by the end of the week for a chance to win $5,000 split between the top 3 teams. The program teaches students fundamental business concepts and essential entrepreneurship skills through hands-on, highly interactive, and creative workshops.

Parking: GVSU does not offer parking in downtown Detroit. The lot adjacent to the GVSU Detroit Center costs $5 before 3pm and $6 after 3pm on non-sporting event days. Please note that we do not have ownership of the parking lots and rates are subject to change on various city event dates.
